Every story has a beginning, and for me, the origins of Obsidian River Productions can be traced back to a single, timeless tale: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

I was first introduced to this story not through a book, nor a movie, but by the gentle, captivating voice of my grandfather. Picture us: sitting by a tranquil fishing spot, the calm interrupted only by the occasional splash of a fish and my grandfather’s voice, weaving the atmospheric tale of Ichabod Crane, the Headless Horseman, and the town of Sleepy Hollow.

It wasn’t just the supernatural allure that drew me in. It was the story of the underdog, the misty and moody ambience, the rich tapestry of characters, and the small-town myths that had my imagination dancing and spinning into fantastical directions. Every time I heard it, it felt like the first time. The story held an allure, an enchantment that never waned.
